Public Relation Center of ICT Ministry reports that Dr. Vaezi, underscoring the necessity of holding more coordination meetings, stated that: “The Ministry’s policy is that every manager in the headquarters has been entrusted with the task of providing you with whatever info and data you may require.”
He expressed that any provincial ICT General Director is a representative of the whole ministry’s complex in the province, saying that: “We expect all managers to strive for the fulfillment of Ministry’s objectives in the province.”
He underscored that: “Also, in the province, the subject of coordination with the whole ICT Ministry system must be on the agenda.”
The ICT Minister counted the technical and managerial abilities of the directors as a foundation resulting in their promotion and progress, adding that: “The more position and influence you possess, the better the Ministry will function as a whole.”
Dr. Vaezi expressed that, last year the first priority of the Ministry was to catch up with the tasks lagging behind schedule, and said: “The infrastructure sector made a good effort which is commendable, but this is just the beginning and is going to be continued.”
The ICT Minister mentioned the technological advancements of the world and the introduction of topics such as Cloud Space, Big Data, and the 5G, adding that: “These subjects created huge developments that should be addressed.”
He stressed on the importance of content generation as the first priority of the new year, and said: “We are encouraging and supporting all active ICT groups throughout the country in this regard.”
He included that: “We began this approach in the province of Qom, and we believe that whatever we produce must be in direction of enlightening and elevating the people; therefore we started supporting the development of religious and glorifying content.”
Dr. Vaezi also referred to development of various contents in the universities around the country, expressing that: “Another priority with us lies with encouraging university graduates and students for writing applied programs and applications, something that generates employment.”
He asked for increasing efforts of provincial directors in focusing their attention on this task and estimating the employment capacity of their province.
The ICT Minister also reported of the issuance of multiple operational permits in the current year, concluding that: “The preliminaries are underway and hopefully will be presented by midyear.”
