The ICT’s Public Relation Center reports that Dr. Mahmoud Vaezi referred to the role of the Communication Company’s personnel in transferring the Late Imam’s messages from Paris to Tehran, saying that: “Our personnel were among the first Iranians who heard the message of the revolution, and were actively transferring Imam Khomeini’s words to Iran.”
He emphasized that: “Our nation will always safe-keep the late Imam’s legacy for other nations and the world of Islam, and it will be passed down from generation to generation.”
He added: “Today we are witness to the awakening of Islamic nations and without doubt, this awakening dates back to 5th of June, 1963 with the leadership of Imam Khomeini, which continues to this very date.”
Dr. Vaezi included: “The world has changed in such a manner that superpowers can no longer make decisions for other nations in their think-tanks.”
He further elaborated: “Nowadays we observe that whatever the west and the US had decided for the countries of the regions, actually turned out completely differently, something that resulted from the awakening of Islamic nations, which in turn is deeply rooted in thoughts and ideology of the late Imam Khomeini.”
The ICT Minister continued by mentioning Iran’s ongoing negotiations with the 6 major world powers, saying that: “With the backing and support of our late Imam’s thoughts and ideas, the sons of this nation are present in nuclear negotiations facing 6 major world powers, negotiating to maintain the rights of Iranian people.”
Dr. Vaezi continued: “What the late Imam imagined and presented us from Islam makes us stronger and it is by the support and credit of this ideology that we will reach our objectives.”
He expressed hopefulness that: “In the same manner that in the years after the passing away of our beloved Imam, his legacy and ideology were treasured and safeguarded by His Excellency, our Esteemed Supreme Leader, also in the future the legacy will be kept in safe hands and his thoughts will be realized in all Islamic countries.”
The esteemed clergyman, Hasan Khomeini, grandson of the late Imam, also addressed this gathering, praising the ICT’s Dr. Vaezi as a successful and capable Minister, saying that: “Imam caused the hearts of the people to come closer to each other, and this nearness resulted in voluntary endeavours of the personnel of Communication Co. to redirect and transfer the news and words of Imam Khomeini.”
He counted Iranian Revolution as the harbinger of mercy, kindness, and solidarity in the world, saying: “The movement of Islamic Revolution, contrary to actions and beliefs of ‘Takfiri’ movements which divide and disperse, create unity and solidarity among Muslim believers.”
Stating that Islam is the religion of mercy and kindness, and does not believe in violence, he underscored that: ‘Our revolution is among the most non-violent revolutions in human history; and we are waiting for a reformer and peacemaker who will come and the future of the world will be filled with peace and friendship and kindness and benevolence, through the esteemed presence of his Holiness the ‘Mahdi’, the last of all prophets.”
