According to ICT’s Public Relation, on the sidelines of the International Qods Day March, Dr. Vaezi stated that: “Iran has paid dearly for prioritizing the Palestinian issue at the top of its foreign policy, and for showing support for Palestinian people.”
He underlined that: “Imam Khomeini’s ingenuity in naming the International Qods Day moved the Palestinian issue beyond the borders of Iran, leaving the Qods Day March for Islamic countries as a decisive and lasting legacy.”
Referring to the extensive presence of Iranian people in Qods Day March throughout the country, Vaezi said: “Those in charge of Saudi Arabia, who are bombing the poor Yemeni people with the help of the western nations and war equipment, must realize that Iran and all Islamic countries are against these atrocities.”
Answering questions regarding latest development of the Nuclear Negotiations, he added: “The negotiations have reached a very difficult stage and we are at the pinnacle of these efforts right now, but I am optimistic about the solution of these problems and God-willing, it is going to have a positive ending.”
Vaezi referred to the latest development of nuclear negotiations and the repetition of excessive demands by western powers, stating that: “The negotiations have reached a very difficult stage and we are at the pinnacle of these efforts. It is only natural that at these last moments, both sides are making their best efforts to obtain advantages of national interest.”
The ICT Minister deemed the practical pressures in such sensitive conditions by both parties as something normal, asserting that: “Iran is also seeking to obtain its desired objectives.”
Vaezi underscored the tough and complex environment of the negotiations, saying: “I am still optimistic about the solution of these issues, and with the help of the Almighty, it is solvable.”
In an answer regarding the possibility of solving the existing issues of the ongoing negotiations in such a short-term interval, the Minister included: “I think that within the next hours and days these issues will be solved and I am hopeful.”
At the conclusion of his media address, Vaezi mentioned the implementation of Smart Filtering by the ICT Ministry, and emphasized that: “This program is at the research and study stage, and as we have mentioned before, we are going to inaugurate two social network services in Iran within the next couple of months.”
