The ICT’s PR department reports that Dr. Vaezi, delivering warmest greetings of the President and the board of the Ministers for the people and officials of the N. Khorasan Province, emphasized the high priority of serving the people for the state, saying: “The 11th government feels indebted to the people and considers it his duty to serve the public.”
Stating that everybody is very attentive of this province, he added: “In spite of all the shortcomings and budget limitations, we saw that the budget of N. Khorasan was completely allocated.”
Dr. Vaezi praised the efforts of provincial officials, especially people’s representatives in the Islamic Parliament, who have always been supportive of the government, saying: “The Communication Ministry, in its turn, has also made extensive efforts during the past two years to pay special attention to provinces which had been receiving less attention before this.”
The ICT Minister said: “We are serious in having a special outlook toward this province in communication sectors whether it is Post, Postbank, Telecommunications, or Internet.”
Referring to the fact that North Khorasan Province was a relatively newly-established one, he underscored that: “We should be more considerate of this province; therefore, last year we were witness to good investments made in the infrastructures of the province by both the public and the private sector, resulting in major leaps in various sectors of the province.”
The ICT Minister expressed that: “We are very considerate of Post and Postbank offices, and a great number of micro loans have been paid to the people in rural areas.”
He mentioned readiness of the Ministry to provide ‘Controlled Funds Loan Facilities’ for organizing and activating Knowledge-oriented companies in ICT sector in the province, adding that: “Doubtlessly, a province with such huge scientific and academic potential and capacity is able to be successful in ICT sector and accomplish major things.”
Mentioning the operational permit of the first operator, he expressed that: ‘In this permit, the Telecommunication Company and the Hamrah Aval Company were seen as one unified company and we do not accept and consider the profitability of one and the losses of the other, separately.”
He stressed on following up the topic of Mobile Network coverage in the main and side roads of the Alborz province, expressing hope: “To witness the complete development of 3G and 4G mobile networks in the province, through quick installation of the related equipment.”
The Minister informed of the establishment of a joint commission with the provincial governor to follow up on the subject of job creation, saying: “This special commission is supposed to hold regular sessions, covering topics such as content generation, e-governance, and all services resulting in creation of employment.”
Dr. Vaezi continued by confirming that all commitments related to the provincial visit of the esteemed Supreme Leader have been carried out, and said that: “By solving the problem of the provincial data-center building, the installation of the equipment is going to commence after the present visit.”
He highlighted serving under the guidance of the esteemed Supreme Leader as the greatest honor for the government and stated that: “The government is making efforts to institutionalize work culture and work consciousness, through planning and organization.”
The ICT Minister reported of the firm decision of the government to resolve economic problems and reminded that: “Interaction between the main governing powers of the country is an honor for the government, and considering the existing unity and harmony in the society, all three powers should join hands in managing the country, helping it on the path of growth and development.”
Dr. Vaezi stressed on the importance of safeguarding internal unity, underscoring unity and the harmony as the main policy of the government, and said: “Different ethnic groups have the same place and position for the government, and all of them should keep their unity and move forward to become number one in the region.”
He also mentioned the attained victory in nuclear negotiations, and said: “The whole world has praised the resistance of the Iranian negotiating team; a victory achieved through wise guidance of the beloved Supreme Leader and the persistence of the wonderful Iranian people, with high consideration for the red lines of the state.”
Dr. Vaezi asserted that a truly major thing has been achieved, concluding that: “We are now in special position and we have to move very smartly.”
Later on, after the conclusion of the meeting, a number of communication projects were inaugurated by the ICT Minister.
