Azeri Economy Minister Highlights Developing Bilateral Relations

Shahin Mustafayev, Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan, welcomed the development of joint collaborations during the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement, in presence of reporters, and asked for further expansion of these relations.

According to ICT’s Public Relation, Mustafayev referred to the presence of high-ranking delegation of Azeri statesmen and traders in Iran, saying: “By the extensive efforts of both Presidents, the Iran-Azerbaijan relations are nicely progressing in all dimensions, especially political ones.”

He highlighted the positive atmosphere of negotiations of the past two days, asserting that: “The negotiations were a success and a step forward.”

Mustafayev expressed that: “Since the transit of cargo and goods has increased tenfold compared to last year, we have come to a positive agreement in this regard.”

He asked for improving relations between the private companies of both parties, reporting of the holding of a forum in the Tehran and Tabriz Chamber of Commerce for expanding relations, adding that: “At the same time, there were ongoing negotiations between our workgroups for joint investment opportunities.”

The Economic Development Minister of Azerbaijan concluded by stating that a productive and successful document has been signed by both parties, expressing confidence that: “This cooperation document is going to be highly effective for expanding relations between our two countries.
