The Public Relation Center of the Ministry states that in this meeting, organized for starting a bilateral cooperation between ETRI and ICT Research Institute, commenced by introducing the structure of the ICT Research Institute and its major current programs and activities, and then Dr. Young B. Choi, Vice President of ETRI of South Korea referred to the implementation of certain projects in the research center, including IOT, expressing that: “We can have a good and constructive collaboration in the fields IOT and IOE.”
According to Iran’s Telecommunication Research Center (ITRC), Choi also included that: “We are hoping that our two centers can collaborate to implement a joint program named ‘KSP’, meaning ‘Knowledge Sharing Program’.”
South Korea’s ETRI is an advanced complex active in the fields of information technology, telecommunication, electronics, and convergent technologies. This public Institute has been established in 1976, has the highest ranking in ICT sector around the globe, and currently manages 27 branches worldwide. It currently employs 2000 researchers, working in three major research centers and 6 specialized laboratories.
