Minister of ICT announced: e-Government Developing, the Main Program of Tenth Cabinet

Duty of ministry of ICT is going forward in scientific steps to develop e-government as the main program of tenth cabinet.

PR of the Ministry of ICT– Dr. Reza Taghipour in opening ceremony of the great national infrastructural project said: “Development ICT infrastructure has been defined as the main duty in the program of ministry of ICT”.
He referred to the completed projects of TIC and restated: “By exploiting of “Development of Infrastructure Transfer Network” project of TIC it will be provide the opportunity of 40Gbps traffic transfer from north to south of the country”.
Dr. Reza Taghipour referring to the national independent signaling network said: “This network provides the possibility of fast troubleshooting, controlling, managing, and connecting by different paths”.
By expressing that IT is a layer he continued: “To increase ICT share in GDP the services must be offer electronically to catch the costs from the other areas. Offering e-banking services is a proper sample because it transferred costs from fuel sector to ICT area”.
Minister of ICT restated that the predicted goals of the vision document should be realized by the determination and will of the cabinet and the executive organizations and exploiting of the private sector’s capabilities, with an active motivation in this area.
In this ceremony Mahmoud Khosravi, CEO of TIC, also said: “TIC has proceeded to implement “Development of Infrastructure Transfer Network” program by exploiting of the most progressive technologies due to achieve to its goals and visions which are supplying users’ and national and international operators’ communication needs. By implementing this project the capacity of Infrastructure Transfer Network has been raised up to 3 times”.
He pointed to the specifications of “Development of Infrastructure Transfer Network” plan and added: “Some of specifications of this program are: 3-time increase of the network capacity, exploiting of 30 thousands Km fiber optic, utilizing updated technologies and equipments which can transfer data with high capacity and exploiting of intelligent technologies by 62 stations of 323 stations which protect network better and recover intelligently probable failures in the network”. 
The other consequences of “Development of Infrastructure Transfer Network” plan, as he said, are: traffic intelligent protection and probable failures recovery, traffic intelligent path finding, coherent management of network, possibility of giving SLA to the domestic and foreign operators.
He talked about the north-south communication transit and said: “Because of heavy telecommunication traffic in north and south of the country as the input and output communication gates of Iran, the experts and managers decided to connect 5 international gates “Bazargan and Astara in north, and Bandar Abbas, Jask, and Chahbahar in south” by implementing this project not only to eliminate communication problems which are in international data traffic, but also to change this path to one of powerful international paths, as a result they will achieve to a national high interest.
According to this report Fuladgar, head of commission of principle 44, and Dastgheib, member of commission of ICT industry managers and activists took participate in this ceremony and 2 projects include “Development of Infrastructure Transfer Network” and “national independent signaling network” were exploited electronically.
