PR of the Ministry of ICT- Sadegh Abbasi, Head of International Affairs and Communications Engineering Center in CRA said:" after announcing the call to identify the laboratories of telecommunication equipments more than 30 requests have been received by CRA from the laboratories active in this field".
"It's been approved to use 10 laboratories after technical studies and adapting their conditions by international standards and so far, the needed permission has been granted to 7 of them", he added.
He pointed to the aims of the recall and identifying the laboratories and said: "according to the regulations of CRA telecommunication equipments sample, domestic products of communication, radio and telecom equipments or some that has been ported through customs in order to install and use in telecommunication networks needs the regulatory certification".
Head of International Affairs and Communications Engineering Center in CRA said: "on the other hand, the recall will be announced generally in order to give the alienable affairs and supporting the private sectors as well as active universities and scientific centers in this field and also to use the national available facilities".
"Thus, CRA announce the recall at interval in order to know, cooperate and give the permission to the laboratories that perform tests on performance, safety and environment activities", he continued.
Sadegh Abbasi about general conditions to participate in the recall said:" some conditions to give permission to the laboratories are including: domestic samples of the confirmed laboratories should be matched with international standards and a documentation system should be created for the accessories according to the mentioned standard".
He pointed to the future programs for expanding the cooperation with the laboratories and said that the laboratories would be used to control the available equipments in the market in the future if the studies were being confirmed.
