PR of the Ministry of ICT - Hadi Abbasi, CEO of Payam Cultural and Sport Institution said: "According to the statute of Payam Institution, creating the sport facilities and equipments for the personal of the ministry is one of the tasks defined for the institution".
"Therefore many bicycle stations has been installed and launched on the campus of the Ministry between public relations office and Seyedkhandan Bridge", he added.
He pointed that the stations had been exploited yesterday with attendance of officials and received the employees and manager's welcome in the first working day.
Hadi Abbasi said that managers and staff do not enough time to do the exercise in work time and continued: "the opportunity will be provided for all employees of the Ministry and the affiliated companies to use bicycle instead of cars for covering the distance between the buildings of the ministry subset".
"The main goals of launching these stations are including: making culture of public sport, reducing unnecessary traffic, saving the costs as well as helping to create the fresh air", he emphasized.
He continued: "Accordingly, in the first phase, six stations equipped with 50 bikes have been launched but it will be developed in the near future".
CEO of Payam Cultural and Sport Institution emphasized: "Advisor to the Minister and Director General of Public Relations Department and Head of Basij Center had attended in the opening ceremony of the stations and traveled the path between Public Relations Office and Seyedkhandan Bridge".
