Execution of United Service Obligatory project in 550 rural towns

Executive phase of USO has been started in rural towns in which more than 20 families inhabit.

As Public relation of ICT ministry reported, according to the bid held by ICT ministry for granting serving USO to private sections, a consortium including some active private sectors chose as a winner after earning necessary points.
According to the contract that has been signed between the ministry of ICT and the consortium, home telephone system in 550 rural towns in 24 provinces come on stream in 4 months.
According to ongoing efforts, After obtaining the necessary permissions and cooperation of the relevant organizations, the project will be executed in the scheduled time.
Up until now, 40 % of the project has been finished and according to the schedule, this project has 5 phases, the first phase completed and The second one is in progress now.
At the time, provision of necessary equipments has been started based on technical specifications and price of the relevant contractor and will be delivered to with in 3 months.
According to recent negotiations with home producers, Telecommunication masts will be delivered and installed in 2 months.
In order to obtain the possibility of making FAR DISTANCE CALLS and use of the optimized time, the satellite telecommunication network (VSAT) will be used in this project as the network supplier.
To speed up the progress and providing necessary circumstances of the project managing, management control policies will be adopted in the Payam special economic zone.
