Eng. Mohammad Hassan Karbasiyan, the CEO and chairman of Iran Post Co. in a interview with news unit of ICT ministry’s Public relation stated that: transferring value in E-commerce was more than $ 220000000000 in the previous year.He added: according to this and the first 3 months of the current year, more than 397 thousand of E-shopping have registered.
He told about the efficient buying and selling software made by home experts and asserted that developing modern services giving based on information technology, numerate as one of I.R Post priorities. Karbasiyan beleives that by using the capacity of Post network more than before, we are witnessing considerable growing in electronic commerce and said: now, Post company with signing cooperation contracts with 21 private sectors, has had about 3000 stores under cover.
He with pointing to increase of I.R post revenue declared that: according to what statistics show Post Co. could reach considerable growing in this zone compared the same time in the previous year.
He continued: by considering the recent situation, we believe that number of transferring can be 10 times more than now, which means people special regard to electronic services.
He emphasized that giving these services can have a great influence on reducing unnecessary urban and rural trips that lead to efficiency and laborsaving increase in different sections.
The chairman of the Post Co talked about the company’s plans for developing the quality of the services and said: according to programming plans for next month, increasing quality of Internet services specially this one, from order to delivery process, will be pursued as one of the Post company major job. He emphasized that: until now, we have gained important successes which provide secured, précised and high speed services for applicants.
