One of the major goals for ICT ministry to take part in this exposition was reflecting objectives and appropriate informing about and activities, sharing experiences and also let the people get familiar with achievements and efforts made by ICT ministry and subordinate organizations in the past 6 years; as one the ICT ministry officials said.
Accordingly, Information Technology Organization, Communication Regulatory Organization, Telecommunication Infrastructure, Post, Post Bank companies and also Communications and Information Technology Research Institute have put on display the past 6 years government services and developments in communication and Information Technology arena.
For this, Information Technology Organization has exhibited the efforts made on Internet arena, like increasing the internet influence index and also creating the center for managing internet development and what have done for Internet speed measuring which let the users measure the real speed and also ranking the companies which provide internet services by Iran Internet Development Management Center.
Creating the Rescue Management Center and balancing Computer occurs are also the other achievements considered in Information Technology section which the services and facilities instruction manual were described.
Implementing the government electronic services website as a national project which is conducted and managed by Iran Information Technology Organization, was one of the other achievements earned for realizing electronic Government and giving services to people online during the 9th and 10th governments periods. Moreover, now there are so many online and 24-hours services given to applicants. E-government pilot in Boushehr province and Agricultural Jihad Ministry and also connecting 100,000 schools to National Data Network besides providing electronic contents for schools to develop E-learning are such other projects pursued and carried out by Information Technology Organization in this 6 years and were on exhibit during the expo.
Radio Communications Rules Regulatory Organization besides the others ICT Ministry subordinate companies had an active presence in this exhibition and tried to describe the major goals of the organization to visitors, including: increasing the level of access to telecommunication services, creating and developing challenging markets, market regulating, preventing anti-challenging acts and also protecting costumers’ rights.
The CRA organization has tried to issue License for the activists in ICT arena, codify and give transparent, purposeful and professional rules with high efficiency to release and privatize Iran communication sections.
Preparing and issuing the license for 1st operator, implementing the 2nd operator, awarding the license for the 3rd operator, compiling the codes and rates tables for services in different communication and Information Technology sections and also defining the minimum and maximum are the other ICT ministry achievements.
based on this report Post Bank governmental company also showed the recent developments on giving small services to villagers and what have been done for reverse migration to villages.
Also, the latest achievements in E-banking and E-payment services were put on display.
I.R Post Company was the other ICT ministry’s subordinate company which was present in this expo and exhibited the new electronic services like Personal Intelligent Postbox and Personal Stamp Publishing.
Telecommunication Infrastructure company Also introduced its projects to visitors, such as increasing International Bandwidth.
Many visitors and pavilion holders believed that holding this kind of expositions cause appropriate reflection of governmental services and efforts and let the people get familiar with services provided by government.
