The CEO of I.R Post Co: E-payment of Public Vehicles excise duty (car tax) in Post offices

According the agreement has been signed between I.R Post Company and I.R Tax Affairs Organization, e-payment of Public Vehicles excise duty (car tax) has getting possible.

Eng. Mohammad Hassan Karbasiyan, the chairman and CEO of I.R Post Company in an interview with ICT Ministry’s Public Relation news unit said that: according to this agreement, Public Vehicles owners are able to pay their annual tax electronically in Post offices.
He with pointing to this online service in many Post offices added that: Public Vehicles owners can inquire about their annual tax by giving vehicle’s number plate to the offices, pay it electronically there and receive Reckoning.
He asserted that: from the beginning of this agreement’s implementation, about 130 thousand applicants in Tehran and 110 thousand in Isfahan province pay their taxes through the post offices.
The CEO of I.R Post Co referred to the expansion of Post offices in the country and declared that: implementing this agreement result on applicants’ time and money saving and also decrease in non-essential transportations inside the cities.
Mohammad Hassan Karbasiyan pointed to the programming done to increase online services in the future said that: giving services related to Vehicles Fuel Card is one of the other Post offices’ online services.
We are trying to provide appropriate Band-width to define and give more online and new services in Post offices; he stated finally.
