Eng. Hassan Rezvani, the Supervision and Rules Enforcement deputy of Rules’ Regulating organization stated in an interview with PR’s news unit that this committee has been established with presence of representatives from Hadj and Pilgrimage Organization, Substructure Communications Company, Iran First Mobile operator (Hamrah-e-avval), the second mobile operator and Rules Regulatory Organization as the pivot.
He added that this committee has established with the aim of coordination between the companies which provide telecommunication services for Iranian pilgrims during Hadj process.
He mentioned that up to now, for this matter three meetings have been held with the presence of committee members and asserted that: according to agreements have been made, it is obligatory to investigate the rates and cost of communication between Iran and Saudi Arabia during Hadj process in different manners and the best communication circumstances provided for pilgrims.
The Supervision deputy of Rules’ Regulating organization declared that accordingly, the mobile operators are obliged to present their proposal packages for serving Iranian pilgrims services in Saudi Arabia, up to the next week.
This proposal package must provide the best circumstances and has the most advantages for Iranian and Arabian clients, creates a challenging market between Iranian and Arabian SIM cards which leads to enable pilgrims to use Iranian SIM cards there; he continued.
Hassan Rezvani pointed that Haj and Pilgrimage Organization will do some of coordination with Saudi Arabia and said: this organization informing pilgrims about communication circumstances and choices before and during Hadj process via its own SMS system.
He emphasized that from the other point, it has been assigned that all mobile phones operators should prepare necessary equipments for giving services to pilgrims in Saudi Arabia which result in stopping probable limitations.
the Supervision deputy of Rules’ Regulating organization stated that also the Substructure Communication Company is obliged to investigate international connections in this zone and all essential foresights taken into consideration when the transferring routs are needed.
