Opening ICT Head Offices for coordination between the ministry subordinate complexes

After the changes have made in the structure of the Ministry Communications and Information Technology for unity and consistency of governmental affairs by the approval of the government, it has assigned to create ICT Head Offices in all provinces.

As public Relation of ICT ministry reported, Dr. Reza Taghipour, the minister of Communications and Information Technology with saying this in the opening ceremony of the First ICT Head Office in Khoozestan, declared that: these offices open in all 31 provinces and Khoozestan is the second one that starts its works.
These offices jobs include strategic and capital programming to develop communications and information technology in provinces, questions responding, making relation between general offices of provinces, supervising and conducting ICT affairs, operators performance, coordination between the s like Post, Telecommunication and Post Bank, protecting Iran frequency atmosphere and responding people about the services given by the operators. Supervising subordinate sections of the ministry and their performance and also the private sectors which provide services in Communication and Information Technology are the other goals, he added.
The minister of ICT with pointing the infrastructure developments have made in Khoozestan province asserted that fortunately there is mobile phone coverage in the most Khoozestan villages which means more than 97% of them equipped et least with one connector and in more than 85% people have home telephone.
He with emphasizing that all Iranian villagers will make use of Home Telephone up the next 3 years announced that each year new group of villages with more than 20 families will be under cover of home telephone.
Dr. Taghipour pointed to the valuable developments have made in the ministry for implementing the 44th Principle and privatizing with considering the Supreme Leader commands, asserted that for reaching this goal 4.293 activity license have been issued for private sectors in Telecommunication which are busy doing their jobs now.
He said that ICT ministry was good enough in privatizing and implementing the 44th Principle of the Constitutional Act and mentioned that, however the government owns the infrastructures and supervise the communication between the provinces.
The minister emphasized on the necessity of implementing E-government services and said: considering this matter which its infrastructures are provided by ICT ministry is one of our most important tasks and all offices are obliged to do their jobs and give services electronically. The provinces officials can help in this through electronic buying and selling system and E-banking and we are hope to improve the province index on this matter.
He continued that with considering high economical potentials and the province managers experiences and past, we hope that Khoozestan gain a high place in providing electronic services in future years.
There is nothing more than the defined rates is got from the people all the records save in the electronic network, the minister said about income of the ministry.
Taghipour said that the provincial Telecommunication offices pay nothing the Telecommunication Company Head Office and all earning cost for the provinces development.
