Engineer Mohammad Hassan Karbasiyan, the head and the CEO of Iran Post Company in an interview with Public Relation of ICT ministry with mentioning this matter, stated that: the Distant Learning course was held for the teachers by Universal Postal Union on May and June, 2011 in Malaysia.
He added that in this learning course, I.R Post Company has gained the first place in 2 criteria of “Number of Contestants” and “Getting Learning Certificates”.
He asserted that all the clerks who have participated in UPU learning course, have been making use of all available infrastructure facilities and Internet bases of Iran Postal network.
The CEO of Post Company about all the programs compiled for this section asserted that with the programming made, gaining the 1st place among all European countries is considered as one of the learning goals for Iran Post Company.
He continued: also in the current year, one of our active clerk in Fars province Post head office has gained the first place in participating Universal Post Union Learning Course among all the members.
He with pointing this matter that learning and improving the Post Company clerks knowledge is highly considered by Iran Post Company, stated that: for this, the Faculty of Post was established in Scientific Operative University in collaboration with Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in which all special courses related to Post are learned.
Mohammad Hassan Karbasiyan said that now, more than 870 students are studying in this faculty and emphasized that improving all clerks and activists scientific level results in fruition and services quality improvement serve to the applicants.
He continued: based on this, we are trying to create more courses related to Postal activities and the results are issued as soon as possible.
