PR of the Ministry of ICT- Seyed Mohammad Hosseinpour, Minister's advisor and General Director of PR said :" one-minute call tariffs of the fixed telephone has been approved at the provincial level by CRA at the last session in Sep. and announced to TCI to implement".
"This Bill has been approved by CRA committee members beside the Council of Ministers' Act which provided last year for making equal the fixed phone code in Tehran province", he added.
He pointed that the tariffs would be implemented only when all pre-numbers became equal in Telephon centers at the provincial level.
Now, the Bill has been announced to TCI officials in order to schedule the implementation of making the codes equal and offer to CRA.
Advisor to Minister of ICT said :" The county's proposed tariff has been submitted to CRA by Iran Telecommunication Company before and approved in provincial level after studies to recover losses of TCI revenues beside making equal the codes".
"According to the CRA statute, approving all regulations, tariffs and rates tables for all services in various sectors of ICT, the lowest and highest of that to ensure the safe fair competition and stable growth and quality of service will be approved in the Commission, within the rules and regulations by CRA secretariat", General Director of PR of the Ministry of ICT emphasized.
"According to the Law, Regulatory Commission is responcible to define the rate policy on all services and tariff tables rates of communication services based on the rules and regulations after reviewing the proposals in this area and considering all aspects of the approved tariffs in the case", he continued.
He said that the city's current tariff was the criteria before making equal the fixed phone code in provincial level and there will not apply any changes in the tariffs.
