PR of the Ministry of ICT- Dr. Reza Taghipour in the opening ceremony of two thousand and 746 communication projects which was held with the President said:" national information network should be created for all e-government applications till the end of the fifth development plan ".
" Accordingly, the main national network infrastructure will be operated and it's capacity will be increased to 500 GB", he added.
He pointed that 35 GB would be related to international Internet capacity and the rest to the domestic applications.
Minister of ICT pointed to the capacity and potential of this area for increasing it's share to GDP and contonued:" the volume of communications can be increased to 3 times by using this capcity".
He also pointed to the other projects and said:" the main portal for international communication is another project that international communication quality will be raised and the costs reduced by that".
"Development and replacement of the main center of international communication is the other project that will be exploited in this ceremony and international communication network will be improved even in the busy times", Dr. Reza Taghipour emphasized.
He also pointed to a research project which has been operated through the advanced technologies localization and the capacity increased several times in this regard .
Minister of ICT said :" two thousand and 742 telecommunication projects as well as 270 post bank projects will be exploited in this event,too".
He also pointed to exploiting several ICT rural offices and continued:" banking development in more than 10 thousand and 70 villages is the ninth and tenth government achievement for realizing the justice".
He said that the villager's waste traffic has been reduced by this project.
Dr. Reza Taghipour pointed to the future plans of the Ministry of ICT and said:" To be the hub of the region by increasing the transition is the coming plans for this ministry that will be achieved by the government supporting".
"We hope to perform our duty in the Great Economic Jihad by the efforts", he added.
